Introduction

Taj Mahal is a poem about the art and it is written by famous poet Rabindranath Tagore. Rabindranath Tagore is a Bengali writer. This poem is about the transcendental nature of art which has the power to enlighten the whole humanity which is transient. It is art alone which embodies the feelings of man. Here, the Taj Mahal represents the intense aspiration of Emperor Shah Jahan to glorify his sorrow.

Objectives

* Reading and appreciating the poem.

* Understanding the genre of the poem and Rabindranath Tagore's style of writing.

* To enable word meaning by expanding the vocabulary with new words usage of new words.
